Accomodations
Hotel Amor de Mar has been a family run local business for the past 30 years. With only 9 rooms and two villas, we want our guests to feel calm and relaxed in our little intimate oasis. Spend time at our natural tide pool, enjoying the breathtaking view of the Ocean. All rooms include free fiber optic WiFi.
Fun Activities
As part of self-care, we build in time for yoga or meditation daily, as well as field trips. They are slightly different each time but include things such as scuba/snorkeling, waterfall hikes, sound healing, wildlife watching and more!
Wellness IS the Blue Zone of Costa Rica
Retreat includes:
7 nights accommodation at Amor de Mar or Wildsun
Breakfast/ Lunch and at least 2 dinners
Daily yoga
Wellbeing workshops and activities
Scheduled excursion and transportation

Our retreats provide wellness and relaxation in the stunning natural beauty of Cabuya and Montezuma, Costa Rica. Some are exclusive to veterinary professionals and include RACE-approved CE, while others, like our Sea & Soul Retreats, are open to all adults.

Our retreats take place in lush jungle and beach settings around Cabuya and Montezuma, where you’ll experience a tranquil escape surrounded by vibrant wildlife and tropical beauty.
Travel and What to Pack

• Lightweight, breathable clothing for hot, humid weather.
• Sturdy hiking sandals or water shoes for jungle treks.
• Swimwear, sunblock, and insect repellent.
• A reusable water bottle and a rain jacket or poncho.

The region’s rich biodiversity includes ants, scorpions, and other small jungle creatures. Encounters are rare if you stay mindful, but packing insect repellent and being cautious outdoors is recommended.

Expect warm, tropical weather year-round, with occasional rain showers. Temperatures typically range from 75–95°F (24–35°C).

Yes, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected events, including cancellations, medical emergencies, or trip interruptions.
Registration, Payments, and Policies

Click on the Registration button of the retreat you would like to register for. The link will take you to a google form to fill out and deposit details will be shared to secure your spot.

A non-refundable deposit of $1000 USD is required to secure your spot. However, if you need to cancel, the deposit can be rolled over to a future retreat within 24 months.
